Description
Billiard tobacco pipe Dán made by hand by Yusy Pipe Art and characterized by an elegant silhouette, a pronounced Natural Grain finish, and a distinctive lower-body configuration that gives the piece its own unique personality. Handcrafted briar pipe inspired by the classic Billiard shape.
This pipe combines the tradition of classic briar pipe shapes with a contemporary artisan interpretation. Its bowl and body are crafted from carefully selected briar wood, worked to highlight the natural grain patterns and the subtle variations that appear across the surface. The result is a warm, deep and characterful Natural Grain finish.
Reinterpreted Billiard Design: The shape of this piece takes inspiration from the classic Billiard, one of the most recognizable silhouettes in traditional pipe making. However, Yusy Pipe Art introduces a distinctive element to the lower part of the body, creating a base with organic, faceted lines that gives the pipe an intriguing sculptural dimension. This particular configuration not only visually sets the pipe apart from a conventional Billiard, but also enhances its character as a handcrafted, artisan piece. The proportions of the body, the transition into the stem, and the carefully sculpted base create a balanced design with a strong visual presence.
Natural Grain Briar: The Natural Grain finish allows the natural beauty of the briar wood to take center stage. The grain patterns and markings across the surface add depth and personality to the pipe, making each piece visually distinctive. The craftsmanship is focused on enhancing the inherent character of the wood rather than concealing it beneath overly uniform finishes. Variations in color, grain patterns and subtle natural details are therefore an integral part of the identity of this piece.
Onyx-Effect Acrylic Stem: One of the design elements that completes the pipe is its acrylic stem in shades of beige, ivory and brown, featuring a finish that visually evokes the appearance of onyx. The different tones within the stem create depth and provide an elegant contrast with the warm shades of the briar. The junction between the bowl and the stem is complemented by a horn-effect decorative ring, a detail that adds visual continuity and reinforces the combination of natural materials and classically inspired elements.
A Handcrafted Pipe with Its Own Identity: This reinterpreted Billiard represents the philosophy of Yusy Pipe Art: creating handcrafted briar pipes in which the raw material, traditional handwork and design share equal importance. Its aesthetic combines traditional lines with distinctive details characteristic of an artisan-made piece. The result is an elegant and organic-looking pipe, created for those who appreciate handcrafted pieces, characterful woods and designs that stand apart from industrial production.
Every briar pipe possesses its own individual characteristics and natural grain variations. In this particular piece, the Natural Grain finish makes the wood one of the main visual elements of the design, giving the pipe a unique personality.
